Yay! I got my first box from Influenster today. It's the J'adore box! So excited!

 

What I received:

 

Hershey Kisses

 

I am a vegan but these do smell so good! My family is surely enjoying the family sized bag of kisses. And what a great way to get some extra chores out of them...LOL "sure I'll put the clothes in the dryer for a few KISSES" ;)

 

 

RedRose Tea

 

Umm yes, what a wonderful way to relax. Both these flavors of tea (Lemon Chiffon ad Crème Carmel) are delicious. I can't decide which one I like better. The Lemon Chiffon is decaffeinated so it makes the perfect end of the day treat. I add a little soy milk and just a tiny pinch of stevia to make a sweet treat!

 

Frizz Ease 3 Day Straight Spray

 

I have naturally wavy hair that I can do two things with, either gel it and use a diffuser or curls or flat iron it straight. On a special night out I like to go with straight. Frizz ease takes my hair that would ordinarily look a little frazzled by ironing and smooths it all down so it looks shiny and healthy! This product is meant to keep your hair straight until your next shampoo (within 3 days)... which for me is not really an issue because I need to shampoo everyday or my hair looks oily. I am thinking of trying a dry shampoo on my roots and seeing if I can get a couple days of straight wear out of it. I will let you all know ;)

 

Botanics Iconic Clay Mask

 

 

I am really surprised at the consistency of this clay mask. In the past every clay mask I have used has had a mud-like consistency but this product it very watery. There wasn't much of a scent except for an herbal type scent. You need to be cautious when applying this not to drip it all over since it is quite thin and runs a bit when applied. Apply a thing coat!

This mask did dry nicely and made my skin feel nice after rinsing off. My skin felt really clean and smooth without feeling dry. Not bad! :)

 

 

 

Kiss "looks so natural"

 

This Valentine's day I decided to try lashes, I used some I was sent by another company and tried them on. They were so thick and so heavy and looked horribly fake. I ended up pulling them off and really felt like I was done with lashes. These Kiss lashes however, are so much lighter and more natural looking. I am very impressed. The ends are tapered like natural hair is so there is not a strong blunt edge. I like these a LOT! I will definitely use these in the future!

 

 

Vaseline Men Spray Lotion

 

I am so jealous! I have been wanting to try the spray lotions from Vaseline but this one is meant for a man. My honey was more than happy to try it out. It was so easy to apply, leave a nice mist of lotion without feeling greasy. It smells like a fresh, clean men's cologne. Soon my son was begging me to get him a bottle too! Definitely like this... I can't wait to try the women's version for myself!

Our Experience:

 

Slip is one of those products that can be used on my whole family. I have fine blond hair and my daughter has 4b/c hair and we both really liked the way Slip feels in our hair.

 

My hair is wavy and gets easily tangled. If I wash it and don't mess with it too much the curls pop out ad I can wear my hair curly. If I have to do a bunch on detangling to my hair the curls end up getting smooshed down and my hair ends up looking frizzy and I end up having to straighten it. When I was my hair and apply the Slip de-tangler I can easily finger comb my hair, it easily de-tangles my hair and makes it feel really soft. My hair does not looks greasy nor is it weighed down. My blond hair which tends to be oily looks greasy so fast I really need to be careful what I use so I was really happy that this product did not make it look oily at all, it was completely invisible but felt really great!

 

J's type 4b/c hair tends to be dry and gets very tangled. This light conditioning de-tangler really helped me to de-tangle J's hair and added softness to her hair as well. This is a really good de-tangler and unlike many other's I have used, it does not take a lot of product to work!!

 

Definitely recommend!

My Experience:

 

When I first squeezed the CC Cream onto my hand I was shocked to see that it was grey, I thought something must be wrong with it. lol But after smoothing it onto my face I realized it changes color on your skin.

I have light skin and normally use an ivory and the natural was perfect on my skin. My teenage son ever commented that I finally found the right color of makeup. My Experience:

 

I have been using this twice a day as directed to reduce my dark eye circles and puffiness. I have always been pretty self-conscious about the dark color under my eyes. I am super prone to puffiness when I don't get enough sleep or when I am feeling stressed.

 

It goes on really easily, just a tiny dot goes a long way and it is very easy to put makeup over.

Our Experience:

We have been taking these vitamins for about a month now. I was very happy to see that they are vegetarian since J is vegetarian and I am newly vegan. I had no issue with taking these vitamins unlike some others I have tried in the past that had upset my stomach.

I know it says it can take about 3 months to see maximum results but I really feel like my hair already seems to look better, fuller and more shiny and it seems to have grown a bit. J's hair also seems to have grown and looks healthier than it did just a month ago. I also notice that our nails seem to be growing also!

Sweet Slumber Pillow From Reverie

I love pillows. I really love pillows. On a regular night I sleep with about three or four pillows and I have never been able to sleep with less than two. I usually just grab a pillow from a local mess retailer and don't think too much about it. I pretty much figured all pillows are pretty much the same. It seemed like no matter which pillow I bought, or how nice it felt brand new, it would soon end up deflated and pretty much useless.

When my Sweet Slumber Pillow from Reverie came in the mail the first thing I noticed was the weight of the box. I had this huge white box and it was so heavy I was starting to wonder if it was really just a pillow inside. It was! I was a huge pillow with a great weight and I could not wait to go to sleep. lol.

The pillow is stuffed with Shredded natural Latex so it's hypo-allergenic and dust mite resistant. It's 100% cotton quilted and the removable cover is machine washable! As a vegan, I am very happy to see there are no animal products, such as feathers, in these pillows!

When it was time for bed I decided to check out a movie from bed, this pillow was so thick and supportive I only needed one pillow under my head and I comfortably watched a movie and then drifted off to sleep. Now normally I am all over the place at night, flipping my pillow many times because it gets hot and feels flat but with the Sweet Slumber Pillow this was not the case at all! I was surprised when I woke up in the morning, I felt refreshed and I hadn't tore up my bed from moving all over the place. I only needed this one pillow! The Sweet Slumber pillow just feels so good, so soft and yet supportive and didn't get hot like other pillows. (I don't even think that was a special feature of the pillow, but I observed that it stayed much cooler than my regular pillows.)

I definitely recommend this pillow! I LOVE it!! I plan to buy one for the rest of the family!
